Account Settings
It is important to fill out your personal details within the Account Settings to benefit from your free membership. Basic information, details, interests and education & employment sections are available within this member's area.
Compatibility
The site is NOT compatible with WEBTV or MOBILE INTERNET.
How do I accept a friend request?
After you have logged in go to the Home tab (At the top of the page the button on the far left next to "Browse Members" ) On the right of the page just above where it says Featured Members will be a link that says "You have # of friend requests" Click this to bring up another page that will list all the friends request you have. Each request will show a picture of the person and two buttons "Accept" And “Decline†You can also click the pic and be sent to their profile to learn more about them. After you have decided press "Accept" to become friends with them or "Decline" to refuse the friend request.
How do I cancel my membership
If you decided to remove your account from the system you can go to My Account Settings and click on Remove Account link on the right side. But this is just in case you are pretty sure you want to do this!
How do I Chat with my friends?
You first must log into your account then look to the bottom right of the screen and you will see a box that says "Chat (#)". This box will have a colored circle next to it stating your status (Green for online and Black for offline). To change your status simple left click on the box to open it, once opened at the top of it you will see the word "Chat" and just to the left of that will be an arrow. Mouse over the arrow to change your status to either offline or online(If you are offline your friends will not be able to see or chat with you). Once you are "online" the box will now show which of your friends are also online. Simply click on their name to bring up a message box and chat with them. *Note: While navigating and refreshing some pages of the site it will change your status back to "offline" simply change it back to "online" and continue to chat with your friends
How do I chat with people who are not my friends?
Simply click on the chat tab at the top of the page in between "Stories" and "Game". This will open a pop-up chat room where you can chat with anyone else who is in the room. The right of the chat will show all who are in the room with you. *Note: if you want to chat with people in the room and there is no one in the room you can stay in the room while enjoying other areas of the site and wait for others to join the room
How do I request a friend?
Simply go to someone's profile and on the right under their Pic (or lack of a pic) you will see "Add to Friends" click this and you will get a pop-up that will inform you they have to accept the request before you are friends click “Send Request†to send a friends request to them or "Cancel" if you changed your mind. *Note: They will have to accept the request before you are friends (Its always better if you send a message to them after the friends request to introduce yourself)
How to add videos to my profile
If you want to add videos to your profile, you should be logged in. On the right top corner, click on the "Add Videos" link and you will be taken to a page to upload videos. Click on the "Browse" to select a video from your computer to upload. You can also add a title for this video. Click "save" to upload the video or "cancel" to cancel this upload.
How to change my profile picture
If you want to change your profile picture, you should be logged into your account. On the right top corner, click on "Add Photos" to change your profile picture or Upload profile pictures.
How to view your profile
Once you are logged into your account, you can click on "View My Profile" on the top right corner. You will be able to view your Posts, Info, Friends and Photos from this area.
I am not receiving the email to reset my password
Check your email application's spam or junk folder or filter. Please note that some emails may be blocked by your ISP (internet service provider).
Inviting/Request Friends
You can invite friends either by emailing them a notice to them about the site or search through existing members and reach out to them by clicking on the profile picture and sending a friend request. If a person has requested to be your friend, you will receive notice within your mail account. You will be able to view their information and profile and you can either "Accept" or "Decline" their friend request. If you accept, they will be able to view your profile and see your status updates. If you decline, they will NOT be notified and the request is ignored.
Login & Password (I forgot/want to change my password)
You can obtain your password by entering your email or username and clicking on "Lost Your Password?" in the top right corner. If you know your password and would like to change it, you can change it from the "Account Settings" tab on the Account page.
Signing up
Signing up is simple - fill in your email address, preferred profile name and password, your gender and birth date, read and agree to the terms & conditions and click on the "Create Your Free Account" button. You will receive a confirmation email about creating your account and you can immediately login and begin enjoying the benefits of becoming a free member!
